Privacy Policy

Some calculator results offer an optional “compare free local quotes” step. It is always your choice, and nothing is shared unless you start it. We are not a contractor and are not affiliated with any contractor.

What is shared and with whom. If you ask for quotes, the details you enter — your name, phone number, email, project ZIP code, whether you own the property, when you want to start — and a short summary of your calculator inputs (for example, “Roof area: 2,150 sq ft”) go to the home-services lead network named next to the form (such as Networx Systems, Inc., Modernize Home Services / QuinStreet, or Service Direct). That network shares them with up to three contractors in its network who serve your area so they can contact you with quotes. The network’s own privacy policy, linked beside the form, then applies to your information. When the quote form or phone number is hosted by the network itself, you give your details directly to the network and we never receive them.

Consent to be contacted. The network and its contractors may contact you by phone (including autodialed or prerecorded calls), text message and email only if you tick the consent box shown with the form. Consent is never a condition of any purchase. You can withdraw it at any time by replying STOP to a text or asking the network or contractor to stop contacting you.

What we keep. Nothing. When our own form is used, your request passes through our server only long enough to be forwarded to the network over an encrypted connection. We don’t save it to a database, write it to logs, or use it for our own marketing. We record only anonymous counts (for example, “a quote request was sent from the roof area calculator”) to see whether the feature is useful.

Compensation and your state privacy rights. The network may pay us for a quote request you submit. Under some U.S. state privacy laws (for example, California’s CCPA/CPRA) that exchange can count as a “sale” or “sharing” of personal information. It happens only when you ask for quotes; if you don’t want it, don’t submit the form. To ask the network to delete your information, use the contact details in its privacy policy, or email us at support@dixonappstudio.com and we will pass your request on. The quote feature is for U.S. adults (18+) only.

Calculator results offer an optional “Email me this estimate” form. If you use it and tick the box “Send me my estimate and occasional tips. Unsubscribe anytime.”, we store your email address, the estimate (your calculator inputs and results), the page you were on, the exact consent wording you agreed to and the time you agreed. It is kept in our website host’s private storage (Netlify), is not sold or shared with anyone, and is used only to send you your estimate and, occasionally, tips about your project. We do not currently send any emails from this site; if that changes, every email will carry a one-click unsubscribe link.

Unsubscribe or delete your email. Enter the address below and we delete it and every estimate saved with it straight away. You can also email support@dixonappstudio.com. Downloading the PDF or using a share link never sends us your email.
